"Mr. Nose Art" Reproductions

The Nose Art reproduced here by Clarence Simonsen have been painted on original skins taken from a variety of bombers that served in World War Two. The history of the military aircraft and the crews that flew them has been thoroughly researched as part of the preparations for creating these reproductions.

Thanks to the cooperation of the WHO ???, Halifax bomber NA337 is currently being restored. In recognition of their efforts, a reproduction of "Thundering Heard" was painted on original skin from NA337, and this panel was donated to the Halifax Restoration Project at Trenton, Ontario in 1999.

Due to the short supply of original panels from aircraft that served in the Second World War, a limited number of reproduction Nose Art is now available to the discerning collector. Once the supply of panels has run out, "Mr. Nose Art" will continue to offer these and other reproductions on other media. Clarence will also research the histories of planes and/or crew for interested parties.

For information on how you can own your own reproduction or to have "Mr. Nose Art" research a particular aircraft or the crew that flew it, please fill out our Guest Book.

These Nose Art paintings have been donated to, and are currently on display in the Nanton Museum in Nanton, Alberta. These Nose Art paintings have been reproduced on a limited basis and can also be ordered for personal collections.
