Snow White - Disney Nose Art

In over 1,200 assorted Walt Disney design team art insignia, only 15 females appeared.

Two were witches, several wore the American uniform, and only one appeared in a nude silhouette. Snow white appeared in only two Walt Disney insignia, both as a nurse. Unofficially hundreds of American aircraft received the nose art featuring Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. One Canadian built Lancaster Mk. X, picked snow white for nose art with the spelling “Snowhite.”

Snowhite, serial KB877, No. 408 Squadron never saw combat, returned to Canada and placed into long-term storage at Medicine Hat, Alberta. Struck off charge 27 January 1948, and scrapped around 1955.
