CLARENCE ' MR. NOSE ART' SIMONSEN TO OFFER ORIGINAL WORK OF ART AT PUBLIC AUCTION
For the very first time, Clarence Simonsen will offer one of his original paintings at public auction. The author of three books, Clarence is a well-known authority on the nose art which became popular among Canadian airmen during World War II.
On Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Cocktails for Cancer, a charity event to raise funds for cancer research being held at the Canada Aviation Museum, Mr. Simonsen has donated a piece described in the attachment to be offered during the live auction that evening.
Should you be interested in acquiring this unique work of art and are not able to join us at Cocktails for Cancer, absentee bids will be accepted.
