November 1997- American ‘petty girl’ presented to Mr. Reid Stewart Austin,
ex-associate art director playboy magazine 1960’s, personal art director of
Alberto Vargas until - 1974. Author of two Varga books and George Petty story.
December 1997- American B-17 replica art presented to Cpl. Ken duff, aviation systems technician, 12 wing, shearwater, Nova Scotia.

The year 1998 was dedicated “Year Of the Cowboy” by Mayor Al Duerr of Calgary. In November 1995 Hadfield served as a mission specialist on STS-74, NASA’s second Space Shuttle to dock with Russian Space Station Mir. He became the first Canadian to visit Mir, first Canadian to operate the Canadarm in orbit, and the first Canadian to climb into an Extravehicular Mobility Unit and walk free in space. The “Space Cowboy” nose art showed Hadfield riding the Space Shuttle like a Calgary cowboy, complete with white hat. |

September 1999- presentation to Nanton Lancaster museum, painting of Walt Disney no. 107 Sqdn. Art, 1939, England.
27 May 2000 - Walt Disney art presented to Canadian aviation historical society 37th annual convention held at Sheraton Cavalier hotel, Calgary, Alberta.
July 2001 - guest speaker for two days at Reynolds aviation museum, Wetaskwin, Alberta. Presented museum with nose art panel of Canadian nose art ‘Seawolf’ Walt Disney.
