Home Who We Are Extended Interviews Store Donate to HAN The Bomber Command Museum of Canada is based in the town of Nanton, Alberta, just 50 minutes south of Calgary. The museum is the home of the magnificent World War II era, Lancaster aircraft FM159. This museum is a very special place. The volunteers are a remarkable collection of aviation enthusiasts from Alberta, whose work is shown in the detailed restoration of this Lancaster with four running engines. The Bomber Command Museum of Canada will be the home of Canada's second Halifax Bomber. This will make Nanton and Trenton, the only two museums on the planet with a Lancaster and a Halifax aircraft on display. Veterans, the general public, historians and schools are welcome to visit the museum to see these rare giants of aviation. As part of Halifax 57 Rescue Canada, we have and will continue to produced several videos for the Bomber Command Museum of Canada.
